The CWO Southern Region AGM was held on Saturday 27 February. From Horsham, CWO Chairman Holly Goacher attended together with other CWO members from across the region.

It was great to see so many like-minded women together (if only on screen), supporting each other and sharing their experiences.
The Southern Region CWO now has 630 members and is going from strength to strength. There are currently women candidates running in the May elections not only in Horsham but also in North East Havant, Epsom Town and Downs and for Buckinghamshire Council to name only a few.
Laura Farris MP for Reading was the keynote speaker, who spoke about her career journey and answered questions about life as a female MP, trolling, and the expectation on women to only want to get involved with ‘women’s issues’.
