The 6th Earl Winterton stood down as the Member of Parliament for Horsham at the 1951 general election. On his retirement, on 23 June 1951 the Horsham Conservative Association presented him with a large bound illuminated address with vignettes of his Horsham life. The presentation was captured on Pathé film and can be seen on line.
Above are a few images from the address. The illuminated address will soon be exhibited in the Horsham Museum on The Causeway.
