I have lived in the area all my life and was educated locally. After having spent my working career in London, I decided that on retirement I wanted to put something back into the area where I was born and brought up.
During the past 35 years I have volunteered with a number of local charities and organisations involved in the provision of local education and community activities.
I was elected as the County Councillor for Southwater and Nuthurst division in 2017, since when I have worked closely with the individual residents. In October 2019, I was appointed as Cabinet member for the County’s Education and Skills Department
I will ensure that I continue to support all the residents of Billingshurst by listening to their concerns and assisting wherever I can.
