I’m Norman Bryant, my wife and I have lived in our lovely Hamlet of Copsale for about forty years, probably not one of the longest in the Parish but must be heading that way, we did have a very brief spell living at The Round House at Leonardslee Gardens. My wife Annie is a choir member at the Church and enjoys her singing there.
In my working life, which has been varied, I ended up being an Estate Agent and started off my own specialist Estate Agency just dealing with Equestrian Properties which I really enjoyed, my hobby was riding and we had just one horse then, this later expanded into four. My company use to sponsor a lot of Horesy events from Point to Points, Show Jumping and Dressage, not that I took a role in riding in any, as I wasn’t good enough for that.
I’m concerned about speeding cars in the Parish and have tried to get reduced speed limits which hopefully might now happen listening to WSCC so fingers crossed on that.
I was one of the original members of the West Grinstead Action Group against the Buck Barn development and raised several thousand pounds to help with the legal costs, I hope that it doesn’t raise its head again as a development like that would create chaos for the whole Parish of Nuthurst and Lower Beeding so I’ll be fighting for that, I’m not the sort of person to be bullied into things and I will stand up for the good of our Parishes, we all live in a nice part of Sussex and I don’t want to see it spoilt.
