The Billingshurst and Shipley Branch merged with Southwater Branch on 1 March 2019. This new Branch offers the opportunity to reach out to our members in Billingshurst, Five Oaks, Adversane, Shipley, Coolham, Brooks Green, Southwater, Christ’s Hospital and Two Mile Ash so that we can engage in more fund raising opportunities as well as encourage new members.
Winners of The James Provan Trophy for 2021
At the recent Horsham Conservative Association AGM, Billingshurst, Southwater and Shipley Branch were awarded The James Provan Trophy for their outstanding achievements during 2021. In a year where the restrictions of the Covid pandemic forced the cancellation of virtually all Branch events which, of course, impacted fundraising. Notwithstanding this, the Branch laid on an event as soon as the restrictions were lifted and contributed a significant sum to Association funds. Moreover, their members were out time and time again campaigning across the constituency to ensure the Conservative message is spread as widely as possible.
This was a fantastic year for Billingshurst, Southwater and Shipley Branch and this award by the Association reflects the efforts put in by the whole team. Congratulations to Chairman Councillor Claire Vickers!
